Jennifer Manning, DNS, ACNS-BC, CNE, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Nursing Programs at LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists as President-Elect. It is the only national association representing clinical nurse specialists, who number about 89,000, in the United States.
Dr. Manning, who is also an associate professor of clinical nursing teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at LSU Health New Orleans, is one of five board members elected and the only one from Louisiana.in appetere postulant ius. Alia nihil utroque ex sit.
Dr. Manning is a nationally recognized leader in the nursing profession. A board-certified adult health clinical nurse specialist and certified nurse educator, Manning has published on topics related to nursing education, healthy work environments, and nurse leadership. She serves as a clinical nurse researcher at East Jefferson General Hospital LCMC Health. Manning is active in various professional organizations and serves on the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. Manning earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Science from LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing.
